3. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure successful security system installation, customers agree to:

4. Quotation and Payment Terms

5. Site Survey and Installation Process

We recommend scheduling your site survey 2-4 weeks before your preferred installation date. Most security system installations require 1-3 days depending on system complexity and property size.

While we strive for minimal disruption, some installations may require drilling and cable work. Our technicians will discuss practical considerations during your site survey.


6. System Handover and Training

Standard service includes comprehensive system handover and user training. We ensure you understand how to operate your security system effectively before concluding the installation.

Additional training sessions or system demonstrations are available upon request and may incur additional charges for complex systems.


7. Equipment Warranty and Support

Equipment includes manufacturer warranties typically ranging from 1-3 years. Installation workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from completion date. Emergency support is available for critical system failures.

Response times for non-emergency issues may vary depending on workload and part availability. We offer various maintenance contracts for ongoing support.


8. System Performance and Limitations

All security systems undergo thorough testing before handover. We maintain high standards of installation quality and system configuration to ensure reliable operation.

While we ensure excellent performance, security system effectiveness can be affected by environmental factors, internet connectivity, and user operation.


9. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Projects may be cancelled up to 7 days before the scheduled installation date with partial refund excluding costs incurred for site surveys and purchased equipment. Cancellations within 7 days may incur additional charges based on work completed.

For custom system designs or specialised equipment orders, different cancellation terms apply as components may be sourced specifically for your project.


10. Damage and Insurance

We carry full public liability insurance for installation work. Customers are responsible for ensuring adequate insurance coverage for their property and any existing systems that might be affected during installation.

Any damage caused by our installation team will be repaired at our expense. Pre-existing property conditions are documented during the site survey.


11. Intellectual Property

All system designs, configuration settings, and installation methodologies are our intellectual property. This includes custom system integrations and proprietary installation techniques.

Equipment designs and software remain the intellectual property of the original manufacturers and are protected by copyright law.


12. Liability and Service Limitations

We provide professional security system installation services through our certified team, but cannot guarantee prevention of all security incidents. System effectiveness depends on proper use, maintenance, and environmental factors.

Our liability is limited to the contract value. We recommend regular system testing and maintenance to ensure ongoing reliability.


13. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute, we encourage direct communication to resolve issues amicably. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be handled under the laws of England and Wales through the appropriate courts.
